Ray E. Clark
Ray E. Clark, 82, of Masontown, Pa., died Monday, Dec. 30, 2002, at 5:04 p.m., in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa.
He was born April 20, 1920, in Nemacolin, Pa., the son of the late Marshall Clark and Hannah Sickles Clark.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
He was a retired welder and machinist at Fruehauf Corporation, and a Trustee and member of the Brethren Church of Masontown, Pa. Ray was also a member of the United Steelworkers of America.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred Clark, whom he married on Dec. 21, 1941; the following children, Emory and wife, Susan Clark of Colorado Springs, Colo., Darwin and wife, Darleen Clark of Bellefonte, Pa., and Lana Clark of Masontown; four grandchildren, Danny Clark, Sherri Green, Mindy Dunn and Melissa Clark; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Iona Clark of Masontown, Pa., and Edith Snyder of North Carolina.
Friends will be received in the PAUL M. LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., Carmichaels, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Additional visitation will be held on Friday from noon to 1 p.m., at the Brethren Church of Masontown, with the Rev. Curt Nies officiating. Interment will be in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
