One-car crash
State police said a vehicle operated by Laura Harwell, 17, of Farmington crashed into guardrails along Route 40 due to slushy conditions Dec. 16 at 7:40 a.m.

Truck stolen
According to state police, someone stole a blue 1988 GMC pickup owned by Elias Hickman of Uniontown from Nickman’s Plaza parking lot along Connellsville Street between 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 p.m. Sunday.

Vehicle recovered
State police said someone crashed a vehicle that had been reported stolen at the intersection of East Crawford Avenue and East Francis Avenue Tuesday at midnight and then fled the scene.

Man charged
State police said charges were filed in District Court against Robert Croci of Fairbank for allegedly punching Tamara Labash, also of Fairbank in the mouth at a residence along Santo Avenue Saturday between 10 and 10:30 p.m.

Motorcycle stolen
Regis Shea Sr., 29, told state police that someone stole his green 1986 Kawasaki KX 500 motorcycle from 214 Duff Road sometime between Dec. 17 and Tuesday.

Coat stolen
State police said someone stole a coat owned by Charlene Patsko, 46, of Adah from the Uniontown Mall Bon-Ton employee locker room between 5 p.m. Dec. 22 and 9 a.m. Dec. 23.

Woman struck
State police said a 41-year-old Connellsville man known to Kimberly Sage, 33, of Vanderbilt struck Sage in the chest during an argument at her Mill Street residence Saturday at 12:41 p.m.

Tires stolen
According to state police, someone stole two tire and rims from a 1992 Pontiac Grand Am and Four tires and rims from a 1989 Buick Century at Wally’s Auto along Morgantown Road between 7 p.m. Dec. 23 and 8 a.m. Dec. 24.

Money stolen
George Shultz of Connellsville told state police that someone stole a safe containing money and other valuables from his 121 Hixon Lane residence sometime between Dec. 23 and Monday.

Hit-and-run probed
According to state police, someone driving a red dodge pickup along Texas Avenue struck a vehicle operated by Patricia Santmyer, 45, at the intersection with Kentucky Street Dec. 24 at 7:30 p.m. and then fled the scene.

State police said a vehicle operated by Linda Smiley, 58, of Uniontown crashed at the intersection of Dixon Boulevard and South Mount Vernon Avenue Dec. 6 at 10:21 a.m. Smiley sustained minor injuries, police said.

Gerald Acker of Smithfield told state police that someone stole a Motorola V-60 cell phone from his vehicle as it was parked outside his 210 Shoaf Road residence between 3 p.m. Dec. 24 and 9 a.m. Monday.

According to state police, vehicles operated by Flora Mae Humbert of Markleysburg and James Clark of Friendsville collided along Route 40 Monday at 7:15 p.m. Humbert sustained minor injuries, police said.

State police said someone stole money and merchandise from Tank’s BarberShop at the corner of Main Street and Church Street between 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday.

Woman struck
State police said charges will be filed against a Dunlap Creek man after he allegedly struck Carla Bittner, also of Dunlap Creek Village, at a Cardale residence Dec. 17 at 6 p.m.
Wharton Twp.
Man struck
State police said Shaun Hatfield, 20, of Mount Braddock was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of The Lodge at Chalk Hill along Route 40 Wednesday at 1:19 a.m.
Police reported that Hatfield was struck by a female driving a white sports utility vehicle with several male passengers and was treated at the Uniontown Hospital for minor injuries.
