Victoria Stashick Martinosky
Victoria (Stashick) Martinosky, age 98, of Continental One, Uniontown, Pa., died Tuesday, December 31, 2002 in Beverly HealthCare, Waynesburg, Pa. She was born September 28, 1904 in Mount Pleasant, Pa., a daughter of Frank and Josephine Stashick.
Victoria was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, and had been a Charter Member of its Confraternity of Christian Mothers.
She worked in the Housekeeping Department of Uniontown Hospital for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Martinosky, four children: Charles Martinosky, Vincent Martinosky, Jean Haragos and Eleanor Martinosky in infancy, 10 brothers and sisters, and her parents.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by a granddaughter, Laura Kutek and husband, Donald, of Uniontown, Pa.; grandsons: Stanley Haragos, Robert Haragos, Steven Haragos and their Families; special great grandsons: D. J. Kutek and Cameron Kutek; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 139 West Fayette Street, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, January 3, 2003 until 9 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Old Walnut Hill Road, with Rev. Fr. Alexander L. Pleban as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.
The Parish Family Vigil Service by The Ministry of Consolation will be held today at 7:30 p.m.
