Florence A. Henderson Titterington
Florence A. Henderson Titterington, 92, of Grindstone, Pa., died Thursday, January 2, 2003 in Uniontown Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born July 13, 1910, in Oliver, Pa., daughter of George and Emma Collins Henderson.
She was admired and loved by all her family. She was a lifelong and faithful member of Grindstone Christian Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the Choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. George A. Titterington, a sister, Olive Pastorious, a brother, George Henderson, a granddaughter, Susan Hickman, and her parents.
Surviving are a son, George Titterington of Grindstone, Pa; three daughters: Audrey Franke of Columbus, Ohio, Emma Joyce Gibson of Turtle Creek, Pa., and Carolyn Lawrence of Oakmont, Pa.; a brother, Gerald White of Uniontown, Pa.; a special niece, Beverly Pastorious of Uniontown, Pa.; three granddaughters: Janet Fryman of Turtle Creek, Pa., Carol Lynn Smith of Delmont, Pa., and Linda Austin of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina; five great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 6, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Michael Helms officiating.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
Visitation was also held Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m.
