Lloyd Murphy
Lloyd Murphy, age 82, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Friday, January 3, 2003 in Uniontown Hospital. He was born February 20, 1920 in Uniontown, Pa., son of Walter Murphy and Emma Virginia Inks Murphy.
Lloyd was Protestant by faith and retired from the Sign Department of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
Three sisters, Grace Mason, Alma Hodge, Ethel Dean, four brothers, Markle, Nathaniel, Bud and George Murphy, and parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by a nephew, Harry Murphy and wife, Sandra, of Lemont Furnace, Pa.; and other nephews and nieces.
Private services in the JAMES D. BARNETT FUNERAL HOME, 196 West Main Street, Uniontown, Pa., today, January 6. Dr. Thomas Whitehead will officiate.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
