Sarah Catherine (Cass) Young Nicholson
Sarah Catherine (Cass) Young Nicholson, 88, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Monday, January 6, 2003 in Mt. Macrina Manor. She was born in Menallen Township, daughter of the late Harvey H. and Lula Grimes Young.
She was a member of the Church of The Nazarene of Uniontown, Pa.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond R. Nicholson on May 10, 1995; two sisters Jewley P. Huey and Ruth Louise Decker and two brothers Harford F. and Harry Owen Young.
She is survived by nieces, Mrs. Henry (Nancy) Donley, Edith Mansell, Frances Furmani and Loretta Minnick; nephews, John, William, Theurman and Randall Bowers; several cousins; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends were received in the JAMES D. BARNETT FUNERAL HOME, 196 W. Main St., Uniontown, Pa. on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and will be received today, in the Church of The Nazarene on Rt. 857 from 10:30 to 11 a.m. the hour of service, with Rev. Howard Foust officiating.
Interment in Jacobs Lutheran Cemetery, Georges Township.
