Donata Sauer
Donata (Nattie) Sauer, 53, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003, in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born in Uniontown, Pa., on Jan. 26, 1949, daughter of the late Pete and Wanda Sosinsky Santore.
Nattie was a lifelong member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, and was very active with various youth groups in the church. She organized the Faith Formation Super Sundays and had taught CCD for many years. She was a Penn State Master Gardener.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Benjamin and Charles Santore.
She is survived by her husband, Henry (Hank) Sauer; a son, Henry B. (Hank) Sauer and his wife, Donna of Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, Anthony Santore and his wife, Gloria of Dunbar; a sister, Paula Seneff of Barnesboro, Ohio; her father-in-law, Henry Sauer Sr., and his wife, Wanda of Pittsburgh; a brother-in-law, Jim Sauer and his wife, Susan of Pittsburgh; two sisters-in-law, Joanne Stoehr and her husband, Ralph of State College, Pa., and Norma Santore of Uniontown; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday until 9 a.m., at which time a Blessing Service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian burial in Therese de Lisieux R.C. Church, with the Rev. Fr. Kenneth G. Zaccagnini V.F., as celebrant. Interment will follow in Mount St. Macrina Cemetery.
