Municipal reorganizations
Dunbar Twp. Tom Yekel was reappointed supervisor chairman at Monday’s reorganization meeting, while Supervisor Gene Frazier was reappointed vice chairman and Ron Keller was reappointed secretary/treasurer.
All three supervisors will remain as roadmasters. The auditors are Joe Kristobak, Lisa Seese and Donald Homer.
Connellsville attorney Don McCue of McCue and Husband was reappointed solicitor and Widmer Engineering Inc. of Connellsville was retained as engineer.
PNC will serve another year as the township’s depository for the general fund and First National Bank will again take care of state funds. James Rabatin was retained as sewerage officer and Dwaine Gordon was reappointed to the Dunbar Township Municipal Authority for a five-year term.
The six full-time maintenance employees will receive a 50-cent an hour raise. According to Yekel the employees now make $14 per hour. Yekel said medical benefits would remain the same.
Keller was named voting member for the state convention and Frazier was approved to attend the state convention. Nick Steich was reappointed to the vacancy board and Roger Adams was reappointed as code enforcement officer.
Meetings will be held the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
