Manches-Chatlas

Rebecca Chatlas and John Manches were united in marriage on Oct. 12 at Whyel Chapel at Jumonville. The Rev. Dan Brant heard the exchange of marriage vows.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Nancy Chatlas of West Penn Boulevard, Uniontown. The bridegroom is the son of Dave and Wanda Viano of Jefferson Trail, Deer Lake, Chalk Hill, and the late Thomas Manches.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white gown adorned with pearls, lace and sequins. Her headpiece was a silver tiara with crystals and pearls with a fingertip veil.

Robyn Cooper was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Robin Marcus, Susie Borek, Tracy Hoover, Penny Simpson, Amy Cicci and Lisa Rogers. Elizabeth Chatlas was the junior attendant.

Frank Bunda was best man. Ushers were Thomas Manches, Martin Manches, Steve Marcus, Thomas Borek, Jack Leone and Joe Hunter. Chase Manches was ring bearer.

A reception was held at the Uniontown Firemen’s Social Hall.

The bride is a graduate of Laurel Highlands Senior High School and California University of Pennsylvania. She is employed with Connellsville Counseling and Psychological Services.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Uniontown Area High School and is employed with Frank’s Auto Supermarket.

The couple is residing at 3 Jacob St., Uniontown, following their wedding trip to Disney World, Orlando, Fla.
