Orianona S. (Stoneking) Leonard
Orianona S. (Stoneking) Leonard, 89, of Dilliner R.D.1, Pa., died Friday, January 10, 2003 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia. Born September 9, 1913 in Monongahela Township, Greene County, Pa., she was a daughter of Enlow Stoneking and Janie Hartley Stoneking Rich. On July 17, 1928 at the age of 14 she married her husband, Joseph Leonard. They were married 55 years. He died June 10, 1984.
She was associated with her husband in the Leonard Coal Company where she worked as the Bookkeeper and weighed coal.
She formerly attended Carmichaels free Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a sister, Ethelyn S. Divil, and a niece, Shirley Kaufman.
Surviving are a niece, Devonnah Jolly and her husband, Elwood, and a very special grand-niece, Clarissa Jolly, all of Dilliner; and a nephew, Darrell Divil and his wife, Helen, of Smithfield, Pa.
Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, 501 Morgantown Street, Point Marion, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, January 13, until 11:30 a.m., the hour of Service with Rev. Woody Wilson officiating.
Interment follows in Greene County Memorial Park, Jefferson, Pa.
