Rose Loverdi
Rose “Ruddo” Loverdi, 91, of Brownsville, Pa., died Thursday, January 9, 2003 in Country Care Manor, Fayette City, Pa. She was born January 16, 1911 daughter of Ambrose Loverdi and Alfonsiz Varaco Loverdi.
She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America and past President of Rosa Garabaldi Lodge in Brownsville, Pa.
Her parents, six brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
She is survived by a sister, Josephine Loverdi of Brownsville, Pa., and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held Monday, January 13, at 9:30 a.m.
Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in The Historic Church of St. Peter in Brownsville, Pa., with Rev. Fr. Vincent Gigliotti as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Rosa Garabaldi Lodge, Brownsville, will have a Ritual Service today at 3 p.m.
Catholic Daughters of America Court 1141 will have a Service today at 3:30 p.m.
