Isabel M. O’Laughlin Vojtek
Isabel M. O’Laughlin Vojtek, age 78, of Carmichaels Pa., died at 5:20 a.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2003 at her home. She was born July 27, 1924 in Crucible, Pa., a daughter of the late Howard Thomas O’Laughlin and Mary Katherine Pirge O’Laughlin.
Mrs. Vojtek was raised in Bobtown, Pa., attended Point Marion High School and was a member of St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church in Carmichaels.
On September 26, 1942 she married Frank A. Vojtek, who survives. Mrs. Vojtek resided in Carmichaels all of her married life.
Also surviving are two sons: Frank H. Voytek and his wife, Elaine, of Uniontown, Pa., and Donald M. Voytek and his wife, Cheryl, of Carmichaels; four grandchildren: Christine Brownfield, Ann Detrick, Dawn Marie Tamborino and Nicole Lynn Colarusso; three great grandchildren; an uncle, Rudolph Pirge of Fredericktown, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the YOSKOVICH FUNERAL HOME, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street, Route 88, Carmichaels, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday, January 14, at 10:30 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 11 a.m. in St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, 408 Route 88, Carmichaels, with Rev. Fr. John M. Bauer as Celebrant.
Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Crucible, Pa.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
A Vigil Service will be held in the Funeral Home today at 3:30 p.m.
