State police investigating kidnapping, rape
State police are investigating the apparent kidnapping and rape of a 30-year-old woman Sunday just after midnight in Georges Township. According to a police report, the victim alleged that while she stopped along Route 119 with engine problems near Hitter’s Storage north of Smithfield Sunday a black late 1980’s Chevorlet pickup pulled in behind her vehicle.
The victim then told police that a white man with a thin build, between 25 and 35 years old with bleached, shoulder length blonde hair and a skull tattoo on his left arm pulled open her vehicle door and grabbed her by the shirt and forced her from the car. The suspect then allegedly forced the victim into his vehicle and left the scene, police said.
According to the police report, the suspect then allegedly drove to another location and sexually assaulted the woman. The suspect then returned the woman to her vehicle and fled the scene.
