HIGHLAND BRETHREN CHURCH, 450 Highland Ridge, Marianna, will hold its annual oyster supper at 6 p.m. Saturday. INDIAN CREEK VALLEY LIONS CLUB will hold an oldies dance party Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Indian Creek Valley Community Center, Route 711, Indian Head. Jeff Allen from FM 104 will provide music. Tickets in advance are $6 per person or $20 for family of four. Children under 10 may enter free. Food and soft drinks will be sold. BROWNFIELD COMMUNITY CENTER, Layton Road, Dawson, will feature Poverty Nick Hillbillies from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Refreshments will be available. The center will also sponsor a bingo Monday. Early birds start at 6:45 p.m. Admission is $11; additional packages are $5. No children under the age of 12 will be admitted. The kitchen will be open.
HOLY NAME SOCIETY at St. Rita Church, South First Street, Connellsville, is sponsoring a pancake and buckwheat sausage breakfast Sunday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Price is $3.50 for adults and $2 for children under age 12.
UNIONTOWN WEDNESDAY NIGHT AL-ANON will celebrate its 28th anniversary with a covered-dish dinner at 7 p.m. on Jan. 22 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, corner of Morgantown and Fayette streets, Uniontown. Al-Anon is open to anyone who has been effected by someone’s drinking habit.
