Charges filed
Police have filed charges against the following individuals in unrelated cases:
– Stephani Denise Kiss, 21, of 316 Bute Road, Uniontown, with disorderly conduct after she was allegedly found creating a disturbance at a North Prospect Street residence on Jan. 9.
– Samuel Franklin Miller, 26, of 230A E. South St., with public drunkenness after he was allegedly found in an intoxicated condition and creating a disturbance at Highlands Hospital on Jan. 7.

Money stolen
State police said a B.F.S. Foods Inc. employee allegedly damaged an automatic teller machine and stole money at the BP Gas Station along Route 188 sometime Jan. 3.

Vehicle crashes
State police said a vehicle operated by Trudy Martch, 51, of Pittsburgh crashed in snowy conditions along Interstate 79 at 5:30 p.m. Jan 6.

Man charged
State police said charges were filed against Randy Pyle, 43, of Clarksville for receiving stolen property after he allegedly was found committing a crime with a vehicle owned by Norman Ovidio, 54, of Marianna along Pine Street at 5:17 p.m. Sunday. Pyle was arraigned before District Justice Lee Watson and placed in the Greene County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bond, police said.

Charges pending
State police said charges are pending against a 20-year-old Waynesburg man after he was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol at the intersection of Route 88 and Cross Street at 2:45 a.m. Friday.

Ring stolen
State police said someone stole a diamond ring owned by Carol Roberts of Uniontown from her 206 David Drive residence between Oct. 15 and 7 p.m. Dec. 24.

Bank card stolen
State police said someone stole a National City Bank card owned by Amy Bowers, 19, of Uniontown and made purchases at stores throughout the Pittsburgh area totaling $2,971.64 between Nov. 25 and Dec. 19.

Woman struck
State police said a 58-year-old Vanderbilt man struck Dawn Colbert, 49, of Vanderbilt during an argument at a Pennsylvania Avenue residence Tuesday at 1 p.m.

According to state police, Richard Cohen was treated at Highlands Hospital after the vehicle he was operating struck a guardrail along Route 119 Tuesday at 3:05 p.m.

State police said an unknown driver struck a fence at 140 Rosy Hill Road at 9:40 p.m. Monday.

Man injured
According to state police, Clyde Angelo of Smithfield was treated at Uniontown Hospital after the vehicle he was driving crashed along Walnut Hill Road at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Tools stolen
Lonnie McKinney, 39, of Uniontown told state police that someone stole tools and a tool belt from his vehicle at his Easter Street residence between 6:30 p.m. Jan. 1 and 8 a.m. Jan. 9.

Sketch released
State police have released this sketch of a suspect in an alleged kidnapping and rape of a 30-year-old woman early Sunday in Georges Township.
The woman told police that she stopped her car because of engine problems on Route 119, about 21/2 miles north of Smithfield near Hitter’s Storage, just after midnight.
The suspect, who was driving a black or dark blue, late 1980s, full-sized Chevrolet pickup truck with a skull sticker on the back window, pulled in behind the woman’s car, police said.
He allegedly pulled the woman from the car, forced her into his truck and then drove to a nearby location and raped her. He then drove her back to her car and fled, police said.
The suspect is described as white, 25 to 35 years old, with a thin build and a skull tattoo on his left arm. He has bleached blond hair that is short on top and shoulder length in the back. He was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a hoop earring.
Police ask that anybody with information about the incident to call the station at 724-439-7111.

Wayne Davison, 25, of Brownsville and Daniel Piccolomini, 49, of Cardale told state police that someone damaged windows at their residences between midnight Dec. 24 and 6 a.m. Dec. 25.

State police said someone broke a window of a vehicle owned by David Wuyuk of Ambridge as it was parked at the Holiday Inn along Route 40 between midnight and 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Woman injured
State police said Laura Henry, 19, of Connellsville sustained minor injuries after the vehicle she was driving flipped over along a legislative route Monday at 4 p.m.

According to state police, vehicles operated by Daniel Durr, 22, of Normalville and Kara Shroyer, 22, of Mill Run collided along Stewarton Road at 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Auto dealer cited
A Superior Ford employee pleaded guilty to a charge of improperly signing a vehicle title and a citation filed against another employee was withdrawn, state police in Belle Vernon said. Kathy Colborn, Superior’s business manager, pleaded guilty to her citation at a hearing on Monday. Trooper William Coddington, a vehicle fraud investigator, said Colborn was cited for not signing a title in the presence of the buyer or seller. A citation filed against title clerk Diana Marr for allegedly failing to verify signatures was withdrawn. Both employees were cited under the state’s Vehicle Code, police said. The victim in the case was Nancy Newell of Scottdale. Coddington said the title violations, which occurred during the transfer of a vehicle title, were discovered during an investigation into an alleged forgery of the victim’s name. The transfer took place on Dec. 27, 2001, and charges were filed in October 2002. Police said the alleged forgery remains under investigation.

DUI, drug arrest
Skylar McCargo of Uniontown was arrested for driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver following a traffic stop at 11:45 p.m. Jan. 10 on Route 119 near Ogelvee Lane, state police in Uniontown said. Police said he had suspected crack cocaine with him in his vehicle. McCargo was arraigned by District Justice Michael Rubish and committed to the Fayette County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bond.

Church burglary
Grace Chapel Presbyterian Church, 1214 Walnut Hill Road, was broken into between Jan. 5 and Jan. 8, state police said. Various items of value were taken, and a window and a window frame were damaged during the burglary.

Two cars crash
April Furlong, 31, no address given, and T. Bruce Detweiler, 43, no address given, were involved in an accident on Route 21 at Bukovitz Farm Road on Jan. 8, state police said. Furlong, who had two passengers in her car, had minor injuries. One of her passengers, Ronald Tomcheck, 37, suffered moderate injuries.

Robert Eric Victor of Uniontown was cited for disorderly conduct for allegedly fighting with Robert Doyle Victor Sr. of Uniontown at 4 Tuskegee Terrace at 3:30 p.m. Monday, state police said.

A pick-up truck owned by Richard Stephen Arvai of Piedmont, S.C., and reported stolen from Masontown on Jan. 9 was recovered Tuesday at 8:27 p.m. in a local parking lot, state police said.

House struck
Roy Jones, 42, of 30 Hogsett St., Uniontown, struck Jacob Solly’s house at 84 Lemon St. with a car he was driving at 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, city police said. Jones walked up Lemon Street toward Lemon Wood Acres after the accident, but officers located him and brought him back to the scene where witnesses identified him. Police said he drove through a chain link fence around the yard and hit the house’s foundation. No injuries were reported.

A front window on George Greer’s home at 109 Cleveland Ave. was shot four times with a BB gun around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, city police said. There were four BB holes in the window, police said.
