Computer stolen
A Compaq Presario model 730US, serial number 00039015157397, owned by David James Whitehead, 20, of Uniontown was taken from 205 Michael Drive on Jan. 3 or 4, state police said. Police ask anybody with information to call the station at 724-439-7111.

ATV stolen
A Yamaha Warrior all-terrain vehicle owned by Patrick Michael Wallace Jr., 27, was stolen from the back yard of his 29 Oak St. home in the Green Hills Trailer Park between Jan. 12 and 14, state police said. Someone pushed the ATV through a neighbor’s yard and fled, police said. The ATV’s Pennsylvania registration is 2456B, the vehicle identification number of JY43GDW06XA241491 and the model number is YMF350. Police ask anybody with information about the theft to call the station at 724-439-7111.

Bar break-in
Bob Petchney, owner of Illusions Bar at 231 Pittsburgh St., told city police that someone broke into the establishment by pushing in an air conditioner that was in a rear window and stole approximately $850 in cash. He reported the incident at 4 p.m. Wednesday and employees told police that nobody was inside when they closed at 2 a.m.

Checks cashed
Ronald Fiffik of 187 Gallatin Ave. told city police Wednesday that his checkbook was stolen within the last 10 days and someone cashed three of the checks for a total of $185.64.

Car crash
James Bailor of Connellsville hit an embankment while traveling north on Route 711, when airborne and landed on his roof at 9:14 p.m. Dec. 23, state police said. He was not injured.

Car accident
Toni Cramer, 53, no address given, slid on icy spots on Hopwood-Fairchance Road, struck a fence and slid into a driveway before coming to a stop in the front yard of 335 Hopwood-Fairchance Road at 1 p.m. Tuesday, state police said She was not injured.

Driver injured
Roger Walkos, 26, of Connellsville suffered moderate injuries during a 6 a.m. Tuesday accident when he struck a tree along a state road, state police said.

A plastic ice cream cone light fixture at the Dairy Queen was damaged Saturday or Sunday, state police said.

Window shot
James Smith of 199 Lincoln St. told city police Wednesday at 8 a.m. that a rear window on his car was shot out with a gun sometime during the night. Police said an unknown type and caliber of weapon was used.
Masontown
Juveniles charged
Two juveniles were arrested and charged with theft, receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy for allegedly stealing a car owned by Michael Carney of Masontown at 8 a.m. Thursday when it was parked on Main Street, borough police said. Albert Gallatin Area High School police took the juveniles into custody and secured the vehicle at the high school. Charges were filed with the Fayette County Juvenile Probation Office, and both suspects were placed in juvenile facilities.
In an unrelated case, police filed a juvenile petition, charging a borough youth with theft and receiving stolen property in connection with the Dec. 26 theft of a car owned by Robert Brown of Masontown. The car recovered in Brownsville.
Police said residents should lock their vehicles and take their keys with them, no matter where they are or how long they plan to be away from the vehicles. Police said most recent stolen vehicle complaints involve vehicles with unlocked doors and keys left in or around the vehicle.

Burglar flees
Someone entered a home on Florence Street owned by Patricia Currie, 58, of Charleroi through the basement door but fled after activating an alarm, state police said.

Prescription stolen
Jamie Flick, 20, of Federal Street told state police that someone stole prescription medication from his apartment between Monday and Wednesday.

Man not injured
Regis Georges of Pittsburgh was not injured when he traveled off Beallsville Road, hit a utility pole and then a wire fence and fence post at 3:15 p.m. Jan. 13, state police said.

Accident reported
Bryan Scott Mitchell, 20, was not injured when the vehicle he was driving struck an embankment along Route 711 at 8 a.m. Jan. 16, state police said.

Citations issued
Clara King, 56, of Uniontown and Arnold Brant, 45, of Uniontown were cited for harassment after an altercation at 9:28 p.m. Wednesday at 807 Woodview Terrace, state police said.

Niya Myers of 79 Collins Ave. told city police that her black 1992 Chevrolet Blazer, bearing red stripes and Pennsylvania registration EJG-7354, was stolen from outside her home between 5 and 10 a.m. Thursday.

Prowler reported
Linea Johnson told city police that she saw a man standing in the back yard of her 64 Lawn Ave. home at 8:22 a.m., Thursday. When she asked him what he was doing, he said he was hiding from a neighbor. She told her daughter to call 911 after the man began to follow her back into her house. He then ran up Highland Avenue, entered a new-model black Cadillac and left. The man was described as black, 5 feet 8 inches tall and was wearing a blue hat, tan jacket and jeans.

Charges filed
Connellsville police have filed charges against the following individuals in unrelated incidents:
– Scott Bean, 27, of Freeman Road, Greensburg, with public drunkenness after he allegedly was found intoxicated and causing a disturbance at Highlands Hospital on Wednesday.
– Arnold W. Brinker, 26, of 139 Maple St., Mount Pleasant, with public drunkenness after he allegedly was found intoxicated along West Apple Street on Jan. 11.
– Melissa Ann Stillwagon, 29, of 132 Gibson Terrace with public drunkenness after she allegedly was found intoxicated along South Pittsburgh Street on Jan. 12.

No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident on Route 51, three miles north of Uniontown at 9:10 p.m. Thursday, state police said.
A vehicle driven by Roger Baker of Uniontown was traveling on the road when he lost control, struck a guardrail and came to rest at the bottom of a culvert.
