Glenn Jackson Seibert
Glenn Jackson Seibert, 90, of West Brownsville, Pa., died Thursday, January 16, 2003. He was born April 12, 1912 in Graysville, Pa., son of Isaac Milton Seibert and Alice (Chambers) Seibert.
Glenn was a member of John F. Kennedy American Legion Post 377 in California, Pa.
He served on the Board of Directors of the Brownsville Industrial Development Corporation and also Brownsville Chamber of Commerce.
He was past President of the Brownsville Kiwanis Club (1965) and a Chairman of West Brownsville Municipal Authority.
Glenn had been an Area Manager for Columbia Gas.
His wife, Murial Ella Kirker Seibert, died April 21, 1991 and a granddaughter, Gwen Michelle Swartz, died January 21, 1976. Also deceased are one brother, William Seibert, one sister, Josephine Lohr, and his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Barbara A. Seibert Swartz of Rices Landing, Pa., and Mary Jane Seibert of Aurora, Colorado; and two grandsons: Donald S. Swartz II and Glenn T. Swartz.
Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, January 20, until 11 a.m., when Services will be held with the Rev. Norman Hunt officiating.
Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
