Julia FrancesHuey Firmani
Julia Frances Huey Firmani, 73, of Waltersburg, Pa., beloved Mother and Grandmother, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2003, in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born July 5, 1929, in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of James Herman Huey and Julia Young Huey.
Julia was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown.
She was predeceased by her husband, Irvin Firmani in 1996, a grandson, Shawn Aaron Stickle in 1982, a brother, James Harvey Huey in 2000, and her parents.
Surviving are a daughter, Janis Firmani Stepanik and her husband, Donald Stepanik, and a son, Kevin Firmani and his wife, Pamela, all of Uniontown, Pa.; four grandsons: Jeremy Ryan Stepanik, Aaron Kristin Stepanik, Eric David Firmani and Anthony Dante Firmani; a sister, Edith Huey Mansell and her husband, Calvin Mansell, of Waltersburg; and a brother, David Huey and his wife, Sharon, of California state.
Friends were received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem, Pa., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial was said on Saturday, January 18, at 9:30 a.m. in St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Mill Street, Uniontown, with Rev. Fr. Kenneth Zaccagnini, V.F., as Celebrant.
Interment followed in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
