Christina Thompson is engaged to wed Brian Stockton, both of Uniontown. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Leona Jane Thompson and Thomas Kennison of Barton Hollow Road, Smithfield.

She is a 1995 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School. She is a substitute secretary for the Laurel Highlands School District.

Her fiance is the son of Linda and Jacob Bittinger of Dunbar and Carl and Lori Stockton of Uniontown. He is a 1994 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and is employed at Cavert Wire Co.

An Aug. 9 wedding is planned.
