Ann M. Hardik Burkus, 74, a lifelong resident of Scottdale, Pa., who retired in 1993 with 15 years of service from the Housekeeping Department of Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg, Pa., and had previously worked at the former “Ninnies” and also Club Lido both in Scottdale, died Sunday afternoon, January 19, 2003 in her home. She is survived by three children: John M. Burkus and wife, Suzanne, of Mount Pleasant, Pa., Susan Burkus of Downey, California, and Michael Burkus and wife, Terri, of Connellsville, Pa.; grandchildren: Melissa, John, Stephanie, Matthew, Jason, Brian and Kevin; brothers and sisters: John Hardik and wife, Sadie, of Elyria, Ohio, George Hardik and friend Caroline, Joe Hardik, Mary Hardik Skala, and Dolores Hardik all of Scottdale.

Family will receive Friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home Inc., 417 West Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, January 22, until the blessing service at 9:30 a.m.
