Joseph D. McLaughlin Sr.
Joseph David McLaughlin Sr., age 62, of Markleysburg, Pa., and formerly of Canton, Ohio, died suddenly Saturday, January 18, 2003 in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born May 17, 1940 in Waynesburg, Pa., son of Betty (Fox) McLaughlin Lhota of Canton, Ohio, and the late J. C. McLaughlin.
David was a Security Guard at the Yough Lake Marina.
Besides his father he was preceded in death by an infant brother.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his stepfather, Howard Lhota of Canton, Ohio; two sons: Joseph D. McLaughlin Jr. and wife, Erin, of Markleysburg, Pa., and Michael McLaughlin of Canton, Ohio; and a grandson, Joshua McLaughlin.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME OF FARMINGTON, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, January 21, until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with Rev. David Herring officiating.
Interment will follow in Sansom Chapel Cemetery.
