Nicholas S. Capozzoli, 85, of Fairbank, Pa., passed away Saturday January 18, 2003 in LaFayette Manor, Uniontown. He was born November 18, 1917 in Herbert, Fayette County, Pa., son of the late Donato Capozzoli and Caraline Cuccara Capozzoli.

Nick was a member of Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown, Fairbank Road & Gun Club, American Legion Post 753, New Salem, and V.F.W. Post 47, Uniontown.

He was a retired Foreman from Independent Metal Products (Fruehauf) in Uniontown and past Scout Master for the Fairbank Rod & Gun Club Boy Scout Troop.

Nick was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Raubaugh Capozzoli; two daughters and a son: Karen Congelio and her husband, William, of Pittsburgh, Pa., Carmella Suba of Uniontown, Pa., and Nicholas C. Capozzoli of Fairbank; a grandson, Charlie Suba and his wife, Jennifer; and a granddaughter, Laura Congelio.

Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa., today, January 20, until 9 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m. in Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Mill Street, Uniontown, with Rev. Fr. Kenneth Zaccagnini, V.F., as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown.

Visitation was also held Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
