The education council of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce has honored Megan Lyn Davis from Smithfield, and a junior at Albert Gallatin High School, as student of the month for December. The daughter of Kevin and Kathy Davis, Megan is undecided which post-secondary school she would like to attend. Her major will be in medicine. Her career goal is to work in the pediatrics field.
This junior shows community involvement working as a child mentor for Smithfield Elementary.
She is a member of various clubs including Interact and the Book Club. She is a very active dancer at Myrna Harvey School of Dance. Davis has earned several honors and awards including American Scholar and Who’s Who Among High School Students.
