Deems-Sutton
Fairchance Free Methodist Church was the setting for the marriage of Rachel Marie Sutton of Perryopolis and Richard Deems of Fayette City. The April 27 ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Wayne Boring of First Christian Church, Fayette City.
The bride is the daughter of Marvin D. and Grace W. Sutton of Big Six Road, Smithfield. The bridegroom is the son of Barry and Judith Riffle of Telegraph Road, Brownsville.
The bride’s sister, Heather Reagan, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Nicole Cook; Andrea Deems and Erin Morford, sisters of the bridegroom.
Michael Bryson was best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Riffle, brother of the bridegroom; Brian Riffle, and Robert Deems, brother of the bridegroom.
A reception was held at the Uniontown Firemen’s Social Hall.
The bride graduated in 1991 from Tri-Valley Senior High School and in 1995 from Penn State with a bachelor of science degree in ceramic engineering.
The bridegroom is a 1989 graduate of Brownsville Senior High School and a 1995 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. He is manager of Public Works for the Borough of Coraopolis.
The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
They are residing at 1002 Vance Ave., Coraopolis.
