Gertrude Showman Freeman, L.P.N., R.N.
Gertrude Cleo Showman Freeman, L.P.N., R.N., 83, of Uniontown, Pa., died Wednesday, January 22, 2003 in Davies Personal Care Home, Merrittstown, Pa.
She was born September 29, 1919 in Connellsville, Pa., daughter of Albert Showman and Rosella Ringer Showman.
Mrs. Freeman was a Licensed Practical Nurse and a Registered Nurse who had been employed at both Mount Macrina Manor and the Centerville Clinic.
She was also a former volunteer at The Salvation Army, Uniontown.
Two daughters, Myrna Budner and Beverly Freeman, a brother, Albert Showman Jr., two sisters, Olive Marvin and Kathrine Showman, and parents preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons: Darwin Freeman of Chicago, Illinois, and Charles Freeman and his wife, Lucille, of Clinton, Pa.; and a sister, Evelyn Lake of Smock, Pa.
Funeral Services will be private and are under direction of the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa.
