Mary L. Ridenour Nicholson
Mary L. Ridenour Nicholson, 63, of Uniontown, Pa., died Thursday, January 23, 2003 in Highlands Hospital, Connellsville, Pa. She was born February 17, 1939 in West Overton, Pa., daughter of Wilbur Ridenour and Florence Clark Ridenour.
Mrs. Nicholson was retired from Ptak’s Formal Wear in Uniontown and previously was employed at the former Connellsville Sportswear for many years.
She attended Walnut Hill United Methodist Church.
Her father, Wilbur Ridenour, died February 28, 1989 and a brother, Harry Ridenour, died in 1968.
She is survived by her mother, Florence Clark Ridenour of Connellsville, Pa.; her husband, Clarence E. “Buddy” Nicholson; one daughter, Meredith Doss of Connellsville, Pa.; three grandchildren: Edward Ray Maust, Dawn Marie Lucot and Mary Edith Maust; two grandchildren: Hayley Dawn Maust and Alexander Michael Miller; two brothers: Harold Gilbert Ridenour and his wife, Gale M., and Kenneth Wayne Ridenour, and two sisters: Jeanetta Jane Ridenour and Della V. Eutsey and her husband, Harold, all of Connellsville, Pa.
Friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 East Green Street, Connellsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Additional viewing will take place Monday, January 27, in Walnut Hill United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., the hour of Services in the Church with Rev. Sharyn Robinson officiating.
Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Visitation was also held Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
