Gemma C. Testa Gionni, age 88, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Sunday, January 26, 2003 in Harmon House, Mount Pleasant, Pa. She was born on May 28, 1914 in Montefiore Dell’Aso, Italy, the daughter of Vincenzo Testa and Felicia Pulcini Testa.

Mrs. Gionni was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Parish in Uniontown.

Her beloved husband, Thomas Gionni, a sister, Lisa Testa, a brother, Victor Testa, and parents preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sister, Ida Ezzi and her husband, Joseph, of Uniontown, Pa., and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the THOMAS M. DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, 136 North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, January 29, until 9 a.m. at which time a Blessing Service will be held.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m. in St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Mill Street, with Rev. Fr. Kenneth G. Zaccagnini, V.F., as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
