Sentences
The following people were recently sentenced in Fayette County Court. Sentences for driving under the influence (DUI) involve a period of license suspension and generally require participation in the county’s Alcohol Safe Driving School and participation in the Ignition Interlock Program once the license is returned. Some sentences also involve participation in the Intermediate Punishment (IP) program, a probationary-type program that usually involves a period of house arrest. Judge John F. Wagner Jr.:
Elaine Hope Weimer, 43, of Connellsville was sentenced to 16 to 84 months in a state prison for retail theft.
Delbert Anthony Thompson, 36, of Connellsville was sentenced to 10 to 24 months in a state prison for possession of drugs.
Jason John Krepps, 25, of Uniontown was sentenced to 1 1/2 to three years in a state prison for aggravated assault and an additional six to 23 months in prison for theft by unlawful taking. In the theft case, Krepps was also ordered to make $300 restitution to the Salvation Army.
Michael Ray Thompson, 24, of Brownsville was sentenced to 23 IP, the first 60 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring, for DUI.
Ramon Lee Cammack, 24, of Brownsville was sentenced to 12 months IP, the first 180 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring, for receiving stolen property.
Omar Atif Assem, 21, of Philadelphia was sentenced to three to 23 months in Fayette County Prison and was ordered to make $200 restitution to Rosemary Jellick for writing bad checks. He was sentenced to three to 23 months in Fayette County Prison and was ordered to make $35 restitution to John Kondrla, owner of Karlyn Motel, for criminal trespassing.
Thomas Joseph Ross, 19, of Masontown was sentenced to 30 days to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.
Thomas Andrew Karlock, 49, of Brownsville was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.
Bart Maverick Yagla Sr., 37, of Connellsville was sentenced to two years probation and ordered to make $60 restitution to Kim Darrell, $457.94 to Highlands Hospital and $316 to Fayette E.M.S. for simple assault.
Michael Norris Berry, 37, of Vanderbilt was sentenced to 23 months IP, the first 120 days to be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring, for DUI.
Juan Curtis McCargo, 27, of Uniontown was sentenced to three years probation for possession of drugs.
George Bear Hunnell III, 25, of Smithfield was sentenced to two years probation and ordered to make $1,582 restitution to Gary Jaynes for burglary.
Matthew Kulenovic, 26, of Uniontown was sentenced to three years probation and ordered to make $45 restitution to Central Tractor for retail theft.
Lynn Francis Keller, 52, of Uniontown was sentenced to two years probation for endangering the welfare of children.
Heath Brandon Eicher, 27, of Smithfield was sentenced to 23 months IP, the first 30 days to be served as an inpatient at an approved treatment center, for DUI.
Walter J. Lucosh Jr., 37, of Grindstone was sentenced to 48 hours to 23 months in Fayette County Prison for DUI.
