Susan Harvilla Yocabet
Susan Harvilla Yocabet, age 94, of Thompson 2, Pa., passed away Saturday, January 25, 2003 in Cherry Tree Nursing Center, Uniontown, Pa. She was born August 14, 1908 in Grays Landing, Pa., a daughter of Joseph and Mary Harvilla.
Susan was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Republic.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony “Tony” Yocabet in 1983, a son-in-law, Arold Carr in 1987, sisters, Mary Sebesky, Catherine Tirpak, Helen Oravitz, Anna Losh, brothers, Steve, Joseph, John and Tony Harvilla, and her parents.
She was the last member of her immediate family.
Surviving are daughters: Alberta and husband Paul Berish of Thompson 2, Pa., Pauline and husband John Pahula of Allison, Pa., and Theresa Carr of Thompson 2, Pa.; sons: Joseph Yocabet and wife, Joanne, of Mather, Pa., Jerry Yocabet and wife, Pam, of Merrittstown, Pa., and Anthony Yocabet and wife, Chiu Yuan, of Thompson 2, Pa.; 15 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, seven Great Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME INC., Legion Street, Republic, Pa., today until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.
A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Republic, with Rev. Fr. Stephen Bugay as Celebrant.
Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Visitation was also held Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m.
A Parish Wake Service will be held Sunday at 4 p.m.
