Thomas J. Blaho Jr.
Thomas J. Blaho Jr., age 89 years of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Saturday, January 25, 2003 in Bristol Manor, Uniontown. He was born February 9, 1913 in Messmore, German Township, Fayette County, Pa., to Thomas J. Blaho Sr. and Mary Raida Blaho.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, Ann Todd, Sue Shultice, Frances May, Mary Berish and Agnes Verbanic.
He attended Central Christian Church and was a life member of B. P. O. Elks 370.
Thomas was an Oil and Gas Driller and Contractor for 50 years and owned Blaho Oil and Gas.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bette J. Hixenbaug Blaho; two sons: Thomas J. Blaho III and wife, Joyce, and Russell E. Blaho and wife, Bobbi, all of Uniontown; four grandchildren: Thomas J. Blaho IV and wife Tiffany, Megan M. Blaho, Shea Blaho and Russell E. Blaho Jr.; a great granddaughter, Taryn Blaho; one brother, Edward Blaho of Sebring, Florida; and one sister, Helen Davis of Pittsburgh, Pa.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., where Friends will be received today from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m.
Visitation will continue on Tuesday, January 28, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. when a Funeral Service will be held with Rev. Arthur Mace officiating.
Entombment will follow in Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
