Theft reported
John W. Oden of 139 Walnut St. told city police Tuesday that a black park-style wooden bench with a Roman-style backrest was taken from his porch sometime Monday night.

Hubcaps taken
James Gaddis Jr. of East Main Street told city police Monday that someone took the hubcaps off his Oldsmobile Delta while it was parked at his home.
Uniontown Assault
Mark Anthony Smith, no age or address given, told city police Monday that two male juveniles assaulted him on Coffey Street at about 5 p.m. Smith said the juveniles struck and choked him, but police noted that he had no physical injuries and refused medical treatment. Smith told police that one of the boys took his jacket containing $50 and fled on foot. A report of the incident was given to juvenile authorities.

Dog bite
Jane Fitzpatrick, no age or address given, told city police Monday that she was bitten by a dog in an alley off Gallatin Avenue at about 5 p.m. Police said Fitzpatrick suffered two puncture wounds. She was transported to the Uniontown Hospital. Police later determined that the incident happened outside the city and referred the matter to the state police.

Vehicle accident
James Dillinger and Bruce Roby, no ages or addresses given, were involved in a two-vehicle accident at the corner of Main Street and Beeson Avenue at 8 a.m. Monday. City police said both vehicles sustained major damage and were towed.

David L. Peters reported that his registration plate was lost or stolen Monday while parked on East Fayette Street. His Pennsylvania registration number is EBJ5201.
