Audrey E. Novak
Audrey E. (Hawk) Novak, 79, of Lemont Furnace, Pa., died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, in Uniontown Hospital. She was born Feb. 14, 1923, in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of the late Pearl (Stanton) and James A. Hawk.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Novak on March 18, 1998; a daughter, Patricia Ann Novak; and brothers, James L. Hawk, Lester Orn and Elmer, Richard, Paul, Charles and William Hawk.
Audrey attended Grace Brethren Church of Uniontown, and was a graduate of North Union High School. A homemaker, she enjoyed her family, gardening and especially her flowers.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan K. Nagg and fianc’e, James R. Fields Jr., of Lemont Furnace, Pa.; a brother, Floyd Hawk of West Leisenring, Pa.; sisters, Thelma Boyd of Belle Vernon, Pa., Mary Losier of Connellsville, Pa., Eleanor Boyd of Uniontown, Pa., and Eva Leonardi of Uniontown, Pa.; special grandchildren, Misty and Jeffrey Klink; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in THE STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME AT SYLVAN HEIGHTS CEMETERY, A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday until 11 a.m., when services will be held, in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Nicholas Philiposian officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
