Van stolen
A 1999 Dodge Voyager owned by Samuel Faris of Smithfield was stolen from West Church Street late Sunday night or early Monday morning, state police said.

Theft reported
Two cell phones, two wallets and clothing owned by three juveniles from Westmoreland County were stolen from a pickup truck owned by a friend of the victims June 25 while it was parked unlocked along Hawkins Hollow Road, state police said.

Man cited
James F. Barnes II, 30, of Dunbar was cited for disorderly conduct for allegedly telling a juvenile from Dunbar that he would shoot out the windows of his vehicle if he did not stop speeding on Martin Farm Road at 5 p.m. Monday, state police said. The incident occurred in front of 106 Martin Farm Road.

Women cited
Rebecca M. Uphold, 30, of Confluence and Samantha L. Murray, 33, of Markleysburg were cited for harassment for allegedly fighting at 467 Mae West Road at 10:45 a.m. June 27, state police said.
South Union Twp.
Vehicle damaged
Someone threw a bottle at Linda S. Baird’s vehicle, causing a scratch and a dent, at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday when it was parked along Elm Avenue, state police said.

Mischief reported
Lloyd Wilson of Woodlawn Avenue told city police that two men in a red Jeep Cherokee threw a smoke bomb into his minivan, parked in front of his house, at 10:52 p.m. Monday. Officers patrolled the area but did not locate the suspect vehicle. Wilson’s vehicle was not damaged.

Death investigated
State police and the Fayette County coroner’s office are investigating the death of an elderly man who was found in his Water Street home Tuesday afternoon. Police said it appeared the man died of natural causes. His name was not released.

Charges filed
City police filed charges in the following unrelated cases:
Police cited James Dwayne Phifer, 28, of 200 S. Ninth St. Friday after he allegedly was found intoxicated near his residence.
Police filed charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct against Dustin Alan Banaszak, 23, of 108 E. Patterson Ave. after he allegedly struck a Connellsville woman several times in the face and head June 23 in the 500 block of West Crawford Avenue. The woman was treated at Highlands Hospital.
City police filed two counts of harassment against Heather Kent, 26, of 118 Gibson Terrace on June 25 after she allegedly threatened and made obscene gestures toward and shouted obscenities at two Gibson Terrace residents.
