James B. Cochick
James B. “Jim” Cochick, age 64, of Moon Township, Pa., and formerly of Leisenring, Fayette County, Pa., died Sunday, June 29, 2003 in Sewickley Valley Hospital, Sewickley, Pa. He was born September 15, 1938 in Connellsville, Pa., son of John J. Cochick Sr. and Anna Zerechak Cochick.
Mr. Cochick was a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church in Moon Township.
He retired in 2001 with 35 years service as an Airline Mechanic for USAirways and was a retired lodge member of The International Association of Machinists No. 1976.
He was the beloved Husband for 43 years of Juanita Bodkin Cochick; loving Father of Carol Ann Cochick Booth and her husband, Dennis Booth, of Moon Township, Pa., Jamie Lynn Cochick and her friend, John Byard, of St. Mary’s, West Virginia, and Linda Michelle Cochick Howard and her husband, Tony L. Howard, of Morgantown, West Virginia; Brother of John J. Cochick Jr. of Westland, Michigan; proud Grandfather of Joshua Booth and Emily Booth both of Moon Township, Bobby Zubreski and Zachary Zubreski both of St. Mary’s, West Virginia; Nephew of Sophia Zerechak of Leisenring, Pa.; and son-in-law of Nellie Bodkin of Dunbar, Pa. He is also survived by four Nieces and two Nephews.
Visitation was held at COPELAND’S MOON TOWNSHIP FUNERAL HOME, 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township, Pa., on Tuesday, July 01, 2003, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Visitation continues at the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, Pa., today from Noon to 9 p.m. and Thursday, July 3, until the Prayer Service at 10:30 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 11 a.m., in St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 908 West Crawford Avenue, Connellsville, Pa., with the Rev. Fr. John M. Butler as Celebrant
Burial will follow in St. John’s Roman Catholic Cemetery.
