James Robert Cornell Jr.
James Robert Cornell Jr. “The Hat”, 61, of Cape Coral, Florida, and formerly of Lemont Furnace, Pa., passed away Friday, February 28, 2003 in Hope Hospice House, Cape Coral, Florida. He was born January 14, 1942 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, son of James R. Cornell and Barbara V. Brown Cornell.
He was a former member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Uniontown, Pa., and also North Union V. F. W. Post 8543, West Penn Boulevard, Uniontown.
He is survived by three daughters: Cynthia Cornell of Cape Coral, Florida, Sherry Cornell Nicholson and her husband, Richard, of Connellsville, Pa., and Jamie Cornell of Cape Coral, Florida; three grandchildren: Richard Nicholson Jr., Taryn Nicholson of Connellsville, and Taylor Ross of Cape Coral, Florida; two brothers: Jerry Cornell of Fort Myers Beach, Florida, and Jeff Cornell and his wife, Joanne, of Masontown, Pa.; special friends: Sam and Peggy Laughery and Moon and Jean Mullen of Uniontown, Pa., Sissy Beecroft, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Mitchell, Bobbie Jo Daggett, his family at Brooke’s Family Restaurant, and his coworkers at Lochmoor Golf Course all of Cape Coral, Florida.
A Memorial Services will be held in the Chapel of LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa., on Saturday, July 12, 2003 at 11 a.m.
