Lawrence Rose
Lawrence Rose, 72, of Connellsville, Pa., died Friday, July 4, 2003 in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born May 9, 1931 in Dunbar, Pa., son of Frank Rose and Annie Dominick Rose.
Mr. Rose was the prominent business owner/operator of Rose Equipment Company.
He was also a member of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Dunbar.
A son, Keith Rose, infant daughter, Sandra Rose, brothers, Louis, Ted and John, a sister, Margaret, and parents preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife, Donna McFarland Rose; children: Larry Rose and wife, Cyndi, of Connellsville, Pa., Randy Rose and wife, Thomasine, of Connellsville, Cheri Rose of Pittsburgh, Pa., Robbie Rose and wife, Pam, of Connellsville; brother, Guy Rose of Dunbar, Pa.; sisters: Florence cope of Dunbar and Mary Hughes of Connellsville; grandchildren: Randy Keith Rose, Lawrence Robbie Rose, Eva Rose, Autumn Rose, Louie Rose, Ian Rose, Evan Rose, and Olivia Rose; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Mabel Bolinger and Rene Savage.
Friends will be received in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Morning Prayers will be said in the Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 8, at 9:30 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Ranch Road, Dunbar, with Rev. Fr. J. Edward McCullough as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Dunbar.
Rosary will be recited in the Funeral Home on Monday at 4 p.m.
