Madlyn J. Brown
Madlyn J. Brown of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Monday morning, July 7, 2003 in her home. She was born in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of the late Wade H. Brown and Violet Shearin Brown. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Wendell J. Brown.
Madlyn was a member of St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, the Catholic BPW and the Catholic Daughters of America. She was a former office credit manager at Kaufmans.
She is survived by her loving sisters Margaret Story, Martha Jane Datko and Rosemary Debecco and her nephew Patrick Story.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN on Thursday evening, July 10, 2003 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday until 9 a.m., when Prayers of Transfer will be said, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. David J. Nazimek as Celebrant.
Interment follows in Sylvan Heights Cemetery. Catholic Daughters No. 505, Uniontown, Catholic BPW will recite the Rosary on Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m.
Parish Wake Service will be held Thursday evening at 8:30 p.m.
