Robert Chinn
Robert Chinn, a lifelong resident of Connellsville, Pa., a veteran of World War II who served in the Pacific Theater, recipient of the Purple Heart Medal, and was associated with his father in the family hardware store, a fixture in Connellsville for 40 years, died June 20, 2003 after a long illness. He is survived by a sister, Sarah Chinn Kalser of Bethesda, Maryland; nephews: Jeffrey Chinn of Columbia, Missouri. and Steven Chinn of Kuai, Hawaii; and nieces: Carolyn Chinn of Chicago, Illinois, Susan Messinger and Kimberly Cobb both of Denver, Colorado.
Private burial was in Rosedale, Maryland, where his parents are buried.
