Man assaulted
State police are looking for two black men who assaulted Tobias Mitchell, 21, of Brownsville with a knife at his Hunters Ridge Apartment Saturday at 4:30 a.m.
According to a police report, the two men knocked on Tobias’ door and when he went to the door to answer it, they punched him and cut him with a knife.
Tobias suffered minor injuries and required stitches, police said.
Police said one of the attackers was about 5-feet 7-inches with a thin beard and a small build, while the other suspect was about 5-feet 9-inches and had a stocky build with a mustache.
Both me are about 20 years old the report said.

David Tirdil of Mount Pleasant told state police that someone damaged his mailbox at his residence between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday.

State police said someone damaged a vehicle owned by Naomi Cramer of Mount Pleasant at her residence July 7 at 11 a.m.

Cars collide
State police said charges for driving while under the influence of alcohol are pending against a Clairton man after the vehicle he was driving collided with vehicles operated by Mary Rendina of Perryopolis and Charles Priester of Uniontown along Route 51 on Sunday at about 5:55 a.m.
Rendina reportedly suffered moderate injuries in the crash and was taken to Uniontown Hospital, where she was treated and released.

Car stolen
According to state police, a white man about 6-foot tall and weighing about 175 pounds stole gold 1995 Honda Accord from Summit Motors in Connellsville along Route 119 after he asked an attendant to take the vehicle for a test drive and never returned July 7 between noon and 1 p.m.

Louella Forsythe, 29, of Adah told state police that someone stole her 1992 Jeep Cherokee Sport from her residence along Croushore Street June 29 between 2 a.m. and 2:20 p.m.

State police said charges for harassment were filed before District Justice Brenda Cavalcante against James Yanak, 28, of New Geneva for hitting Kathleen Wyland, 23, of Uniontown in the face outside a residence along Smithfield-Masontown Road Friday at 9:55 p.m.

State police said no one was injured when vehicles operated by Ray Goodwin Jr., 18, and Thomas Nine, 49, both of Smithfield crashed along Fox Hollow Road Tuesday.

State police said someone stole a red Craftsman toolbox, a welder, an air compressor and a heater owned by John Lint, 45, of Lemont Furnace from a garage along Main Street Thursday between 12:30 and 8:30 a.m.

State police said Tyler Stouffer of White suffered minor injuries when the vehicle he was driving crashed into a pole along Breakneck Road Friday at 5:14 a.m.

According to state police, someone entered Laurel Highlands Motor Sports along University Drive in Lemont Furnace and stole a 1998 Kawasaki ZXI1100 jet ski, a 1998 Load Rite trailer, a 2002 Kawasaki KX250 motorcycle and a portable gasoline dispenser with a total estimated value of $13,230 between 9:15 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

State police are looking of two men driving a maroon Dodge sedan who stole a Playstation and assorted games owned by Bonnie Stull from her Friendship Hill Road residence in Smithfield Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.

Stephen Blackburn, 40, of Connellsville told state police someone stole assorted coins from his residence along Breakneck Road between 8:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
