Correction
Douglas Albert Scott of Uniontown was cited for disorderly conduct Thursday at the Hampton Inn in North Union Township after falsely telling police that, “I shot him trooper. He is laying in the back.’ Police said Scott made the comment in an attem pt at humor. It was incorrectly reported in Sunday’s paper that Scott told police he had shot a trooper. Scott didn’t shoot anyone but was cited for giving false information to police.
