Elizabeth M. “Libby” Bennett Hepler
Elizabeth M. “Libby” Bennett Hepler, age 95, died Thursday, July 3, 2003 in Smithfield Memorial Hospital, Smithfield, North Carolina. She was born May 5, 1908 in Greensburg, Pa., daughter of Joseph Bennett and Carrie Schaffer Bennett.
Her husband, Guy Parker Hepler, and parents preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters: Marilyn Davies of Winchester, Virginia and Beverly Jones of 17-B Fieldale Apartments, Smithfield, NC 27577; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
The Family received Friends in the PARRISH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 South Pollock Street, Selma, North Carolina 27576 on Saturday, July 5, from 1 to 2 p.m.
Funeral Services were conducted at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the PARRISH FUNERAL HOME. The Rev. Braxton Creech officiated.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the American Heart Association, Memorials and Tribute Processing Center, Post Office Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216.
There will be a Graveside Memorial Service on Saturday, October 18, 2003 at 10 a.m. at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa. Any Friends of the Family are invited to attend at that time. The Rev. H. Melvin Schultz will officiate.
