Armeda M. Grigoletto
Armeda M. Grigoletto, 87, of Portage, Pa., passed quietly into eternal peace on July 20, 2003, at her home. She was born Nov. 25, 1915, in Lentai, in the province of Belluno, Italy, daughter of Anthony and Fidalma (Damin) Scarton.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Marco Grigoletto; son, Rinaldo Grigoletto; grandson, Matthew Kissell; brothers, Valerio and Bruno Scarton; brother-in-law, John Geriak; and her parents.
Surviving are her children, Ronald M. Grigoletto, married to the former Judith Crowley of Wall, N.J., Anita, wife of John Bertuzzi and Bruna Kissell, both of Portage; the following grandchildren, Mark Grigoletto, Michele Nappi, Michael Bertuzzi, Diane Bertuzzi-Bryja, Maria Strosnider, Matthew Kissell, James Kissell and Fidalma Kissell; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother and two sisters, Walter Scarton and wife, Ruby of Masontown, Pa., Edith Geriak of Portage, and Dolores “Dolly”, wife of Joseph Iachini of Ebensburg; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Scarton of Portage and Jean Scarton of Cleveland, Ohio.
She volunteered for many years for the American Red Cross Blood Mobile.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday, July 22, 2003, at St. Joseph Church, Portage, Pa. Committal service was at St. Bartholomew Cemetery, Wilmore, Pa.
