Scott Hruby achieved high honors in 11th grade on the Uniontown Area High School honor roll for the fourth nine weeks of the 2002-2003 school year. His name was inadvertently omitted from the list of honorees recently published in the Herald-Standard. Bernard J. Geisel Jr. was the driver of an ice cream truck that caught fire at the corner of Morgantown and East Fayette streets in Uniontown at 5:08 p.m. Sunday. An article in Tuesday’s paper contained incorrect information.
Auditor General Robert P. Casey Jr. has formed a committee to begin raising money to run for state treasurer in 2004. An article in Monday’s paper contained incorrect information.
The local phone number for the American Cancer Society is 724-437-0545. An incorrect number was published Tuesday in advertisement for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, which is scheduled for Aug. 9-10 at Laurel Highlands High School.
