Community calendar – July 24
CENTER IN THE WOODS, Route 88, near Roadman Park, California, will hold a giant flea market Saturday and Monday. Doors open at 9 a.m. GERMAN TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1963 will hold its 40th-year anniversary on Aug. 23 at the Amvets Post 103, Hopwood. Addresses are still needed for several classmates. Any classmate who has not received an invitation or anyone who can supply an address is asked to call Mary Ann Vaccaro Saluga at 724-438-2401 or Donna Leichliter Savage at 724-437-5303 as soon as possible.
UNIONTOWN VFW POST 47 will hold its annual picnic Sunday from 12:30 to 5 p.m. at the post home. Members may bring one guest.
