William C. Herrington Sr., 85, of Scottdale R. D. 2, Pa., owner of Herrington’s Fruit Market in Connellsville, Pa., who had been employed by the B & O Railroad and also Weirton Steel Mill, and was born in Scottdale, Westmoreland County, Pa., died Friday, July 25, 2003 at 3 p.m. in H. C. Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, Pa. On September 15, 1985, “Bill” married Morjorie L. Burkhart Herrington, who survives. Also surviving are their children: William C. Herrington Jr. and wife, Dody, of Connellsville, Pa., James R. “Bo” Herrington and wife, Melissa, of Pearland, Texas, Kathleen Herrington Caldwell and companion, Bill Sutton, of Big Pine Key, Florida, Pam Herrington Richey and husband, John Richey, Doug Jones, Randy Jones and wife Sue, and Sheree Herrington Eicher and husband, Jeff, all of Scottdale, Pa., and Jeffrey Jones of Japan; grandchildren: William Herrington III, Benjamin Herrington, Nicholas Herrington, Amanda Caldwell, Meredith Caldwell, Zoe Caldwell, John Richey, Jeremy Richey, Joshua Richey, Jessica Richey, Nicole Jones, Megan Jones, Stephanie Siebert, Steve Eicher and William Jones; great grandson, Joshua Richey III; and brother, James Herrington of Greensburg, Pa.

Family and Friends will be received in the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home, 105 Spring Street, Scottdale, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Visitation continues Tuesday, July 29, in Jacobs Creek United Methodist Church, Scottdale R. D. 1, from 10 a.m. until the Service at 11 a.m.
