George J. Janowski
George Joseph Janowski died peacefully in Florida on Tuesday morning, July 22, 2003. George was born August 28, 1938 and reared in Brooklyn, New York.
He attended St. Michael Diocesan High School and St. John’s University. He has been a resident of Florida for the past 12 years.
He was the son of the late Clara Markoski Janowski and Benjamin Janowski.
He is survived by his spouse, Eileen McCullough Janowski; his brother, John and wife, Ellen; nephews: John Patrick and James; nieces: Lorene and Mary Elyse; and a brother-in-law, the Rev. J. Edward McCullough.
Viewing was in St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 459 Ranch Road, Dunbar, Pa., on Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. A Prayer Vigil was held at 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today (Monday, July 28) in St. Aloysius Church at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will follow in Greensburg Catholic Mausoleum, Greensburg, Pa.
Funeral Services are under the direction of the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC. at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa.
