Harry Newton “Newt” Schriver, 97, formerly of Connellsville, Pa., who was born in Uniontown, Pa., former Scout Master for Boys Scout Troop 105, and retired Cable Splicer from Bell Telephone, died Saturday, July 26, 2003 in Cedars of Monroeville, Monroeville, Pa. He is survived by three sons: Lou Schriver and wife, Virginia, of Delmont, Pa., Thomas Schriver and wife, Ruth, of Springfield, Missouri, and Dick Schriver and wife, Lorna, of Las Cruces, New Mexico; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Clara Tulley of Connellsville, Pa.; nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home Inc., 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, Pa., on Tuesday from 5 to 9 p. and Wednesday, July 30, from 9 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11 a.m.
