Anna Beall Kocan
Anna Beall Kocan, 82, of Scottdale, Pa., passed away Monday, July 28, 2003 in the Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, Pa. She was a member of the St. John Byzantine Church of Scottdale. Prior to her retirement she was a claims interviewer for the Bureau of Employment Security in Uniontown and Greensburg. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Scottdale and Everson and enjoyed quilting. She graduated from Uniontown High School in 1939.
She is survived by her husband Nicholas Kocan whom she married July 18, 1970; her children, Mary Ann Moore Runner and husband John of Newark, Ohio, Larry Moore and wife Kathy of Uniontown, Michael Kocan and wife Cindy of Millville, Jeffrey Kocan and wife Pattea of Shell Beach, Cal., Mark Kocan of New Cumberland and Marie Kocan Webb and husband Jesse of Milford, DE; nine grandchildren; a brother James Joseph Moorhouse and wife Eileen of Bethel Park; an aunt Gladys Moorhouse of Uniontown and three nephews Jimmy, Keith and Kevin Moorhouse.
Friends will be received in the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home, 105 Spring St., Scottdale today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until 9 a.m. on Thursday.
