Robert F. Bloom Sr.
Robert F. Bloom Sr., 77, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born July 13, 1926 in Uniontown, Pa., son of the late Benjamin Franklin Bloom and Virginia Elizabeth Heinbaugh Bloom.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Bettie Ferens and Dorothy Fearer and three grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Irene (Couch) Bloom; nine children, Ethel Stossel and husband Matthew of McClellandtown, Beverly Malone of Uniontown, Rose Marie (Rosie) Bedilion of Waynesburg, Connie Brown and husband Edmund of Uniontown, Robert F. Bloom Jr. and wife Debra of Lemont Furnace, Cindy Bosley and husband Robert of Lemont Furnace, Benjamin Bloom and wife Donna of Smock, Becky Kimmel of Lemont Furnace and Mary Bloom and companion David Yoder of Smock; one sister Janie Riggen of Uniontown; one brother James Bloom of Uniontown; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 26, 2003 at the CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood.
