BROWNFIELD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH Willing Workers Class will meet at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the social room. BROWNSVILLE AREA FOOTBALL LEAGUE will meet at 7:30 p.m. today at Jackson Farms. All coaches, officers, cheerleading sponsors and interested individuals are urged to attend. Any child who has not yet registered may do so prior to the meeting at 7 p.m. Registration fee is $30. Uniforms are furnished by the league with no deposit.
MOUNTAIN FELLOWSHIP CENTER will hold a flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Fellowship Center, Route 40, Markleysburg. Lunch counter will be open. Tables for rent inside and outside, weather permitting. To reserve a table space, call 724-329-0545.
ST. GEORGE MARONITE CATHOLIC CHURCH Ladies Guild, Uniontown, will meet at 1 p.m. Sunday at the church social hall.
FRIENDS OF THE UNIONTOWN PUBLIC LIBRARY are holding a perpetual book sale at the library on the first floor. A rotating stock of newer used books and old books, hardcover and paperback, fiction and nonfiction, is available.
GLOVER-FIKE REUNION will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Markleysburg Fire Hall. Each family is asked to bring a covered dish, drink and dessert. Prizes will be awarded. For more information, call 724-277-8952.
ST. THERESE ALTAR SOCIETY will receive Communion at the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday. Rosary will be recited at 9:10 a.m. There is no August meeting.
THE 26TH ANNUAL MIDDLE RIDGE SCHOOL reunion will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the home of Charles and Katherine Harris. Members are to bring a covered dish.
AMVETS LADIES AUXILIARY will hold a covered-dish dinner at 6 p.m. Monday at the post home. Regular meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
POPLAR GROVE SCHOOL will hold a covered-dish reunion Aug. 16 beginning at noon at the Faith Bible Church, South Pittsburgh Street and Porter Avenue, Connellsville. Pictures will be taken at 12:15; luncheon, 12:30. Tableware will be provided. Members are to bring pictures, memorabilia, covered dish or dessert, and an item for the Chinese auction. UNIONTOWN SERVICE LEA-GUE, 41 W. Main St., Uniontown, will hold a one-half off sale on summer merchandise beginning Monday and continuing to Aug. 16. All proceeds benefit local charities.
